A ENCOUNTE THAT STARTED IT ALL

In the early 1960s, Jean-Pascal Montaner’s father settled in France and began distributing beverages in the South. During this time, he met Éric Pietrini’s father, who was then the president of the Kanterbräu brewery. From this professional relationship, a true friendship was born, strengthened by the fact that the Pietrini family spent all their vacations in the South. From then on, the two families forged strong bonds.

A CHILDHOOD FRIENDSHIP

Growing up together, Jean-Pascal and Éric become inseparable, sharing passions and hobbies. At a very young age, they promise each other to one day start a business together. Their paths lead them to different but complementary fields: Jean-Pascal to major agrifood companies like Danone, where he gains strong commercial and managerial expertise; Éric to advertising in Paris, where he builds a 25-year career in major groups, including 10 years at Havas, then as General Manager of TBWA at Omnicom, before becoming president and CEO of BBDO Proximity. There, he participates in the first acquisitions of advertising agencies and hones his skills in business management, operational rigor, and relationship-building.

THE MAJOR TURNING POINT

In 2008, a unique opportunity arises: the acquisition of Kronenbourg and InBev’s distribution activities in the South of France. Jean-Pascal and Éric decide to fulfill their childhood promise and found Montaner Pietrini Boissons.

Since its creation, Montaner Pietrini Boissons has relied on trust, inherited from the founding friendship between the two families. Driven by solid expertise and a constant pursuit of excellence, the company has grown while never losing sight of the responsiveness that is its strength, nor the conviviality and humility that characterize its relationships.
Today, it continues to develop while remaining true to its history, its roots, and the entrepreneurial spirit that has always driven it.
